deep choices
i've been given the choice to provide education for a kid with a lot of potential. he's currently working a gig which disallows him from pursuing the studies that he is very interested in. he's an amazing worker, has outstanding skills already, a great disposition, and is a self-starter. he'll be virtually impossible to replace. so ... do i give him the education he so richly deserves? or do i allow him to continue working (and possibly learning a lot less, yet earning a hell of a lot more) because i'm afraid of how hard it'll be to replace him?
i'm going to have to think about this one for a while - i thought the answer would be obvious, but it's not. at least not to me!
